Shape Memory has a special place in my heart. They reached out for a full rebranding and positioning engagement that has expanded to web, print, and display work. As the project manager for this client, I am responsible for intake of new projects, set-up, time management, assigning work to appropriate team members, graphic design, proofing projects to client contacts, finalizing designs, and sometimes ordering final collateral deliverables. Over the years, my team and I have walked our friends at Shape Memory through our full process, resulting in a robust brand guide, messaging guide, and a full website design. Their website was one of the first sites I designed using Figma, now my standard UI/UX design software. We enjoy a continued relationship with Shape Memory, creating projects such as:
Endospan came to us asking for a brand refresh. They liked their logo but were concerned it was outdated. I was responsible for updating not only their main corporate logo, but also several logos for products and clinical studies, a full brand guide, and a template for case studies. As a team we have designed a website, social media posts, and case studies.
My previous position was Graphic Designer and Marketing Specialist for Puckett’s Furniture in Livingston, Tennessee. In this position I was responsible for their most recent brand refresh, taking elements from their most recent logo and their original 1954 logo to create something fresh with a nostalgic feel, evoking feelings of contemporary style alongside the trustworthiness they’re known for. I was responsible for many other projects as well, chiefly the weekly newspaper insert advertisements and social media management. For the insert, I photographed the products, designed the layout, ordered the final deliverable from the printer, and managed the schedule for delivery and insertion into several local publications. For this locally owned furniture store’s social media presence, I was responsible for photography, content copywriting, script writing, videography, video editing, posting, scheduling, and cadence.
Lowe Farms, a neighborhood development project near us, requested light branding work; a logo and color palette. The client wanted a logo that would look good on apparel and on the entrance sign. The homes will have a modern farmhouse feel (we are in Tennessee, after all), and we wanted to capture that in the logo and nature-inspired colors. I used a combination of a traditional serif font with a modern, minimalist tree scape to achieve the the classic, yet modern look.
SkyX needed a logo adjusted, and we were happy to deliver. It needed some content edits and some tidying up. I love details and enjoyed making sure every little piece was lined up perfectly. When they sent this mockup of the logo we designed on their building, we were star-struck!
